4th of July

Well, here it is the 4th of August, so I thought I would post about our laid back 4th of July. The days leading up to the 4th were filled with firecrackers being shot off in the driveway.

One thing I learned is yet another difference between boys and girls: Black Cats/M-80's. For those of you that know, I don't need to say any more.

We did attend the celebration in America's Fourth of July City (Seward) and to get our annual 'shaved ice'. If you've never had one, you NEED to!  Way different than a snow cone. We also did our traditional watch of the parade. And managed to almost avoid getting beaned in the head with candy
